Speed Buggy

A silly sketch done on a gloomy afternoon. One of Hanna-Barbera's numerous series based around the SCOOBY-DOO formula  of a group of teenager and their whatever sidekick going around solving mysteries. Despite only one season's worth of episodes being made, somehow, Speedy had enough staying power to be broadcast on ALL THREE MAJOR NETWORKS on concurrent seasons. (this was BEFORE cable/streaming, mind you) Speed Buggy's voice was supplied by the great MEL BLANC, who based his performance on his sputtering Maxwell car he had voiced for JACK BENNY's radio show.

Michael Pence

My take on the Vice President and Donald Trump's Altar Boy. Obviously He's praying for Trump's impeachment.  You may think I'm being mean here, but I have little trust in folks who want use the government to enforce their specific religious values onto the entire country. As our founding fathers noted, Church and State should be separate.

RIP Stan Lee

Stan Lee, Writer, Publisher, Figurehead,  and one of the biggest influences and creative forces in the evolution of today's modern comics books has left us today at the age of 95. 'Nuff said.

Reject Archie

From 2004: despite my overtly cartoony style, I decided to send some sample pages to ARCHIE comics. It probably didn't help that I decided to poke some mild fun at some of the cliches in the Archie books at the time.
