Well, Blow Me...Up
My opinion on the new "POPEYE" cartoons on YouTube. Is King Features THAT desperate about making Popeye "relevant" they have to dumb him down to appeal to millenials? I'm Popeye the PC Man....

Speed Buggy
A silly sketch done on a gloomy afternoon. One of Hanna-Barbera's numerous series based around the SCOOBY-DOO formula of a group of teenager and their whatever sidekick going around solving mysteries. Despite only one season's worth of episodes being made, somehow, Speedy had enough staying power to be broadcast on ALL THREE MAJOR NETWORKS on concurrent seasons. (this was BEFORE cable/streaming, mind you) Speed Buggy's voice was supplied by the great MEL BLANC, who based his performance on his sputtering Maxwell car he had voiced for JACK BENNY's radio show.

Michael Pence
My take on the Vice President and Donald Trump's Altar Boy. Obviously He's praying for Trump's impeachment. You may think I'm being mean here, but I have little trust in folks who want use the government to enforce their specific religious values onto the entire country. As our founding fathers noted, Church and State should be separate.

Reject Archie
From 2004: despite my overtly cartoony style, I decided to send some sample pages to ARCHIE comics. It probably didn't help that I decided to poke some mild fun at some of the cliches in the Archie books at the time.

The Black Dragon Knight
Newest commission: A cover illustration I drew for a short story called THE BLACK DRAGON KNIGHT written by a young writer named Kevin Pascarella. Kevin has a website at www.kevinpascarella.com and also has his work available on Amazon. Special thanks to Jaclyn Hunt for connecting us.

The great thing about drawing Fozzie Bear is: You don't have to be funny. Heck, you couldn't if you tried.

Ernie's Mom
We saw Bert's Mom in the Fresh Prince parody, so...But seriously..as difficult as it must be for Bert to live with Ernie, what must it have been like to RAISE him?

Sheldon the Sea-Genie
Sheldon the sea-genie from SIGMUND AND THE SEA MONSTERS. Muppets aside, This caricature of Rip Taylor in green makeup and tights, running around in swim fins and tossing confetti out of a seashell has to be one of the strangest things I've ever drawn.
