Salem News: Victory-To a Point-At Last!!
After YEARS of city politics, Salem Mayor Kim Driscoll has finally gotten the financial plan for a new Salem Senior Center approved. The funny thing is, though, when I drew up this cartoon, I didn't realize we were approaching the anniversary of the War in Iraq. And then I opened the paper this morning - the tenth anniversary of the war- And I find out they actually USED it! What a hoot! This is from the 03/19/2013 SALEM NEWS.

Salem News: Parking For Vets

The City of Peabody,MA is planning a project to allow veterans to park for free, even in metered areas.
Nice gesture, but our veterans do deserve more than just that.
