Dirty Frank
I was responding to a post about early PBS, and this character somehow popped in my head. This is DIRTY FRANK, the sole puppet character that appeared on a locally produced TV series (WZBZ channel 5, Boston) called JABBERWOCKY. I think Frank was meant to be like a combination of Oscar and Big Bird, as he was the cheery child-like character, but he lived in a chimney, (on set, not a roof) never bathed and liked filth, and spoke with a deep, gruff voice. This is how I remember him looking.

Salem News: No Boston Olympics
Boston has withdrawn from bidding for the 2024 Olympic Games due to one major tradition of recent past games: The host city is solely responsible for covering any of the event's cost overruns or shortfalls. My cartoon as published in the 07/29/2015 SALEM NEWS.

Salem News: Gold Rush
Local pundits are still pushing for the 2024 Olympics to be held in Boston, and are trying to figure out how to get more of the North Shore area into the act, But the massive (and COSTLY) work needed to accomplish this is causing much concern and doubt for many. My cartoon as published in the 05/29/2015 SALEM NEWS.

Salem News: 2014 Olympics Coming To Boston
To many people, the 2024 Summer Olympics being held in Boston is far from a good idea. Especially since the astronomical costs may just add to the city's already massive, deep hole. My Cartoon as appeared in the 01/16/2015 SALEM NEWS.

Salem News: The Sox Win - And If They Didn't
My cartoon from the 11/01/2013 SALEM NEWS. When I drew this up a few days ago, I also drew up an alternate version in case (god forbid) the World Series series took the other turn, and submitted both. I'm showing you BOTH the published version AND the unpublished alternative here. Aren't you glad the Sox won?

Art Imitates Life: Values

My DIGBOSTON cartoon for 09/25/2011.
This may be a bit over the top, visually. But it seems the real reason these moral practioners are so much against gay marriage simply because they can't figure out who subjugates who. To them, Marriage is legalized slave-owning plus benefits.(As in benefits HIM..)

Salem News: At Long Last.....

Published in THE SALEM (MA) NEWS 06/25/2001;
THe FBI finally caught Boston gangster "Whitey" Bulger. I figure I could have used a variation of this gag here on Bin Laden, But Laden was only in hiding since 2001. Bulger's been hiding since 1997. I guess for the next few weeks or so, now, we're gonna hear about news reports that sound like "Sopranos" episodes.
