I can't say I was ever a big sports fan, but I think even I can be entitled to a bit of local pride, and besides the current political climate made this idea the perfect hook for the drawing. My cartoon as it appeared in the 02/07/2017 SALEM NEWS.

Salem News: The Sox Win - And If They Didn't
My cartoon from the 11/01/2013 SALEM NEWS. When I drew this up a few days ago, I also drew up an alternate version in case (god forbid) the World Series series took the other turn, and submitted both. I'm showing you BOTH the published version AND the unpublished alternative here. Aren't you glad the Sox won?
