Some Things Should Get A Second Chance
Steve Gerber's HOWARD THE DUCK was a great character and a great comic book, and no way it deserved the botched Lucas-produced film adaptation it got. That hideously- designed Duck suit didn't help any either. They should have used a more Gerber-faithful script, and if they were going to go the live-action route, at least gone to The Jim Henson company , and used puppets or full-body suits that actually LOOKED like the character, much like they did with the first TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES film. I think CGI these days would definitely make a more convincing Howard possible,
but I'm Betting Disney might not appreciate putting out a movie that seems like a parody of their OWN duck property. (Though technically, BOTH are Disney properties now)

Ooh,'eck!! Shrek!!
Was at the site CARTOON BREW and found this link to this site TUMBLR
site that posts different people's versions of the Dreamworks character SHREK.
Not having any original ideas myself, tonight, I submitted the drawing you see here. You might get a kick out of the other artist's takes. (WARNING: Some are gross/raunchy)
